SKALTSOUNIA’ (CRESCENT-SHAPED PASTRIES) VLACHOPOULO-STYLE

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients together and knead. Take some dough in your hand, create a small hole, place the filling and close it in a half-moon shape. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 °C. When the skaltsounia are ready, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Ingredients:


  • 2 water glasses olive oil
  • 1 water glass wine
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 baking powder
  • flour (as needed)
  • dough (medium to soft)

Filling:


  • ground walnuts
  • cinnamon and cloves
