It is a trap, usually made of metal, used to catch game (wild animals and birds). Depending on the size of the animal the hunter aims to catch, there are a variety of traps. The small snare is used for smaller game (birds, and hares) and has a worm lure, while the so called ‘wolf trap’ is used for larger game (wolves, foxes, jackals, wild goats) and has a piece of meat as a lure.
