Instructions

Boil water, add the salt and corn flour and stir constantly for 8 minutes. Then turn off the heat. Add the olive oil, the raisins, the figs and nuts and stir for 2 more minutes. Pour the mixture evenly into four dinner plates and sprinkle the sesame seeds on top, covering the whole surface. Finally add the petimezi. The dish can be served either warm or cold.

 

Nutritional Value

Adding currants and nuts like almonds and walnuts increases the antioxidant content and the content of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids of the dish.

  • ½ cup of raisins (currants)
  • ½ cup of nuts (almonds, walnuts)
